Any updates on Geno recruiting the 9 year old girl who impressed him by making a shot in the half time youngster game (#30). I think I caught a snippet on Sports Channel :p:p;);)

It was funny how distracted he was by those kids on the court.

Olivia Vukosa 6’4 F/P Philly Belles (PA) 2027

Already known as “Big-O” by many in the east coast basketball circles. In the world of youth bball sometimes being tall is all you really need. But in Olivia's case, she also has many perimeter skill sets to complement her size. During the game, she demonstrated the ability to play facing the basket as well as the ability to play as a “traditional big”. Due to her size and advanced skill set, she will be a top 10 prospect in the 2026 class.

Olivia better known as Big O was a dominant presence at the Winter Series. Standing at 6’4 her rebounding and block shots comes naturally, however she is much more than a force down low, she handles the ball, finds the open teammate, and creates mismatches all over the court.

Olivia Vukosa (6-3 C NY 2026) continues to develop and put herself on the national stage as one of the top centers in the nation. Vukosa is mobile, can beat you with an occasional jump shot at the arc but, armed with a superb interior game that just continues to develop. An impact block player in the 2026 class!

Olivia “Big O” Vukosa, 2026 Center, Top Notch Lady Ballers: Hands down one of the best bigs in the division. A BIG reason why her team finished undefeated in the season. Olivia picked up right where she left off after session one. A strong finisher around the basket. Runs the floor really well and has amazing footwork for her age. She is really skilled at her position. Had some tough spin moves and finished with her left hand. Showed the ability to bring the ball up the floor making her extremely dangerous to defend. Very disciplined on the defensive end. Rarely gets in foul trouble.

@Sluconn Husky any connection ( followings) from the Olivia “Big O” Vukosa by the UCONN staff?
NY bigs and former Philly Belles have worked out pretty well for UCONN.

Yeah, Morgan Valley. I mentioned that in the first post about Vukosa.

Valley is also now following Morris Catholic of NJ. They have all kinds of young talent, most notably the Pauldo twins, both freshmen guards.

KK Arnold involved in an intense game today. Her team was facing better competition than they usually do and she was frustrated for long periods. She got a tech in the first half for swinging her arm after a fairly hard foul. She was held without a FG in the first half and Germantown was behind around 8 points early. Then she took over and made plays all over the court. Her teammates made a bunch as well. They won by 16.

26 points (8-15 FG, 2-4 3-PT, 8-12 FT), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals

I'm curious as to why you think the U.N.C. degree is preferable to the Vandy degree. There are lots of different measures, but U.S. News ranks Vandy #14 and UNC #28.
In all my years working with high school seniors, I barely glanced at any those magazines as reliable sources of information about or ranking of universities' educational programs.

:eek:Not really! .
Oscar Robertson & Oliver Miller both have that nick name.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Miller, who is known as "The Big O" because of his large size (6-foot-9 and well over 300 pounds throughout his pro career), was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 22nd overall pick of the 1992 NBA draft.

scar Palmer Robertson (born November 24, 1938), nicknamed "the Big O", is an American former professional basketball player who played for the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Yup, Oliver Miller is who immediately comes to mind to hoop fans and some other people when someone mentions the Big O. Maybe in Little Rock or Fayetteville.
