The Dunmore game from Wednesday 1/26. To say there was a talent disparity here....well, I felt sorry for their opponents.

Toomey played until 3+ to go in first half hand never returned. She did get trapped by four players in the post early on though.

Sarah Strong: 24 points


Grace Christian's Sarah Strong not only led her team with 24 points in a 58-47 victory over CAASC No. 1-ranked Winston-Salem Christian, she was honored before the game for a state-record 40-rebound game last month.

How effective is Patterson against players her size or taller?

Good question.........so far I haven't seen a game where she has played against anybody her size or taller..........she seems to do "OK" against shorter people though........

Hard to tell, we'd have to see AAU video for comparable size because her HS league just doesn't have much. And the HS referees won't let her play all out and physically. Of course there will be a learning curve when gets to UConn but I'll predict she won't back down or get pushed around like some of these freshman inside players do.

Look for the FIBA 3x3 international tournament where Patterson played with Barker (22), Rice (22) and Williams (23).

Gotta give Ayanna some cred for rebounding and her defense was significant. It looked like Spain had spent more time in their 3 x 3 game. Ayanna is going to be a rebounding force though for sure.
