Charmin Ultra Soft team. They're 360th in the country in free throws attempted this season.
Uconn is 230th, so not quite Charmin, maybe one less ply.

KenPom’s Four Factors are widely regarded as a predictor of success:
  1. Effective Field Goal Percentage (eFG%)
  2. Turnover Percentage (offense and defense)
  3. Offensive Rebound Percentage
  4. Free Throw Rate
The only one that I'm seeing this Uconn team excels in is #1.

This UConn team is also very good at 2 and 3 on this list too, even if they're not elite. The only weak spot is free throw rate, and we've already seen that's not a detrimental factor the last 2 years

We're probably the best passing team in the country, we make our shots and we make our free throws.

We have the #3 most efficient offense in the country, it's exactly where the UConn offense was last season. Defense is where we need to improve. Kansas has the #100 most efficient offense in the country.

Pretty good at #3 also. See #7 in the linked article.

Transition defense can be a bit of a noisy stat that's buffed up by 3-point variance, especially against buy-game competition in non-conference play, but there are 11 teams that rate in the top-30 in fewest transition points per game allowed while also securing over 34% of its misses.

I get so agitated every time I see a Colorado score. That team is cheeks and might not win a B12 game. Baffled we lost that.

So uhhhhh Rahsool Diggins scored 46 points tonight
Triple OT game at Fordham during their 100th Anniversary celebration of the opening of Rose Hill. Pretty awesome and glad to see the A-10 ending up a real nice level of play for him to show up.

Kansas’ lack of perimeter shooting has been a pretty glaring weakness this season. I’m sure Self did not expect Dickinson and Storr to just fall off a cliff in that regard. Makes it far too easy to collapse on Dickinson in the paint. Griffen is a good shooter off their bench but definitely a weaker point defensively. They need some of these guys to pick up their shooting quickly.
Storr on his 3rd team- just there for the paycheck

I was never really impressed with the guy going back to his days at St. John's. He had a horrible first round game last year vs James Madison. Look at his stat here:

This could not have been what Bill Self had in mind when he recruited him through the transfer portal.

Most disappointing teams so far. Guesses? I think all of them have been mentioned in this thread.

Arkansas (they put most of the blame on the coach, which was fun to read!)
Kansas State (worst team money can buy!)
Kansas (transfers ain't the answer)
Indiana (coach)
Rutgers (predictable though relying so heavily on 2 freshmen)

I think Danny implored his team to be better at 2 during the last game and guess what - they were

Storr is deceiving because there are times his on ball dribble drive can be effective and flashy, especially at 6’7”. The problem is he doesn’t pass(less than 1 assist per game over his career), he can’t shoot(shooting 29% from 3 this year) and he doesn’t play defense. In other words, not a team/winning basketball player.

Some 7 foot guy named Wolf on Michigan just drained a step back 3 down 1 with 28 seconds left.

Memphis v Temple second half has been quite good. Temple's arena is quite loud and they're not a bad team. Would like to see Temple get back near the top of the sport. Frankly if not Dayton, I'd love to see Temple replace us in the Big East when we move up

Dawson Garcia, remember that name? He started at Marquette if my memory serves me correct. He just got a half court shot at the buzzer at OT to win against Michigan.
Minnesota 84 Michigan 81

Early Karaban foul trouble then he came into the 2nd half ice cold, McNeeley hadn't emerged yet. Couldn't stop fouling or defend their big. Colorado made 56% of its threes on the soft Maui rims.

Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey did all they could to put Rutgers up in the 2nd half and now they're doing all they can to choke a big road win away

Enjoyable game and nice win for Rutgers.

Good night for MBB as Minnesota won at buzzer in OT against Michigan. Too many turnovers for Michigan. I believe that Wolf had six in first half.

I’m having withdrawals from NFL as only a few games left. Now it’s time to focus on college basketball.

Gonzaga vs Oregon St has been a great nightcap, Graham Ike hitting a game tying 3 with 5 secs left to force OT
