January General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

Wisconsin up 2 with 9 ticks. Going to line.

Missed 1st. Hit 2nd

Scared Spongebob GIF
Lol - I’d love for them to lose. They apparently have an on and off switch.

Wow. Michigan goes down AT HOME to Wisconsin. Wisconsin got a huge break. They were inbounding up 2 with 35 seconds left, and for some reason threw a contested 60 foot touchdown pass. Didn't look like there was a lot of contact, but refs called it and Wisconsin hit both FTs. That was 1 of maybe 4 RISKY passes they threw in the last few minutes, but didn't get burned on any of them and they pulled it out!

I am unfortunately very much looking forward to the arguments that are about to be had on here haha

the non review on the airball didnt come back to bite them but still not a smart decision. Big Win for the badgers and hopefully the state of Wisconsin used up all its luck so my bears can take out the packers tongiht/

things must be really gloomy in pittsburgh. getting stomped at home by cuse. losing 64-50 with under 13 left
bcu - you already knew the outcome in louisville

How far does Mich drop from this? Still probably going to be #1 by most advanced metrics but this is a home Q2 loss and they have 1 Q1A win. Their resume is built on quantity, not quality and their kenpom #1 D took a huge hit today too. I think their bottom is probably 6, wouldn’t be surprised to see ISU/UConn/Duke jump them and realistically Nebraska should jump to top 6 with their resume

Rob Dauster talking about Michigan going 40-0 and only the Spurs and Thunder being able to slow them down. Turns out all it took was a Wisconsin team playing on the road who already has 5 losses (30 point losses to BYU and Nebraska, 10 point loss to Nova in Milwaukee.) That's after Michigan should've lost to Penn State without Penn State's leading scorer.

Turns out you have to be more than big.

Their 1 big win against Gonzaga was the Bulldogs 3rd game in 3 days. They are a good team but I’m less impressed with them the more I watch.

Yep and the NBA isn't even in love with their bigs.

Still a really good team but the hype for them is the dumbest hype train thing I can remember watching college basketball.

You realize most mocks have Yaxel and Mara going in the first, and Morez in the second. I'd say that's pretty good.

Something is missing with that group - not sure what.

You must realize this is funny coming from you.
Well, it's been two games in a row where they either lost the rebounding battle or were about even with two teams that aren't exactly known for their brawn.
