That second possesion was indefensible. Like you're down 2 with 15 seconds, at least attempt to get 2 feet in the paint and draw a foul, attempt a closer shot, or spray out to an open shooter if need be.

Because their froncourt isn't the '86 Celtics no matter how badly you want it to be.
 
I'm not incredibly worried with Alex on Yaxel or Morez either. I'd be more worried about who he isnt guarding. Could be a Stewie assignment.

You and InYatkin twins? You both have such warm and fuzzy personalities. Two co-winners of the congeniality contest.

They're not the 86 Celtics, but they are 7'3", 6'9" built like a TE and Yaxel. They should never get outrebounded by Penn St. That's just lack of effort.

About as ugly a win as it gets. I'm just saying that one may help them in the long run. You can only do so much blowing out before you start feeling a bit big for the britches.

They lost that heart when they couldn’t front run is what happened.

Penn St slowed them down and kept them out of transition. Yaxel loses his powers in the half court

True - that's the thing about teams like that, you slow them down and make them defend for 25-30 seconds, and it numbs them into a stupor. Even their offense stagnates. This is Hurley's superpower.

Yeah, we've seen you post about the immovable giant fly swatter Mara and the two goliaths over a hundred times now. We've seen you label all UConn fans as homers for even considering UConn has as much talent as Michigan.

Well Ralph Sampson 2.0 and the two goliaths just got outrebounded and should've lost to the equivalent of DePaul tonight.

Question: had the Penn St shot went in at the buzzer, would your opinion of Mich had changed any?

Dude, give it up already. I'm not arguing anything. There is no comparing bad wins. Good teams have off games, sleep walk. You can't measure who's sleepier.

If the Penn St shot had gone in, my opinion would likely be the same. Team that's been on a roll goes on the road against a bad team and sleep walks, but does show some chinks in the armor. Still very talented, really surprised their front court didn't show up on the glass. Does drop them a notch in terms of beatability it looks like you can slow them down and bully Mara.
 
Tech vs. Houston is a good game - haven't watched much yet, was peeking at KU/TCU but there's some good ball tonight.
