So you don't think crisscrossing the country across 3 time zones and playing 2 games a week has any affect on people? I'm not saying they can't do it, I'm just saying it might catch up to you sometimes and you put up a stinker. It's naive to think otherwise.

they could have stayed and kept the pac-12 afloat. You can't take the money then complain about the work..the travel was a known issue...it's not like Rutgers and MD moved states after Ucla joined the conf.

You think Mick Cronin was in on the decision to join the Big 10?

of course not...but you know what you are getting into when it was announced...either shut up or get a new job
or raise a stink and maybe the situation improves? I'm not clear why I'm supposed to be mad here

I’m not talking about a couple posts here and there I’m talking about pages that derail threads that had nothing to do with michigan in the first place
Everyone has the opportunity to put anyone on ignore eliminating the problem for themselves. Everyone has a choice of responding to him adding to what they are hoping to avoid or not responding thus reducing the amount of derailment. Instead some people feel the need of changing someone else rather than taking steps themselves. Now it’s important to understand that I don’t think your effort is wrong. It’s not. But once you realize that the individual you are hoping to change is unlikely to accommodate your wish I question why anyone continues with a hopeless endeavor.

.-.
You new here?

He asked what other teams.
My bad. I was rushing to leave and didn’t read what you responded to. As to your question I’m not new here. Or this plane of existence for that matter.

This is for @RuffRuff. Neither won the national championship.

2. Michigan

Previous ranking: 2

2025-26 record: 13-0

Stat to know: The Wolverines are 3-0 against AP-ranked teams this season, winning all of them by 30 or more points. That makes them the first team in AP poll history with three straight 30-point wins against AP-ranked teams. They are the third team in AP poll history with three 30-point wins against ranked teams in a season, joining 1993-94 Minnesota and 1996-97 Kentucky.

We shall see with them. I do think they position as one of the more interesting teams to watch this season. Curious to see what they are capable of.

Nebraska and the Nice Whites pull out a gritty victory at OSU.

Nebraska is a lot better than I thought they would be when I saw them tune up Creighton. That loss is hurting Creighton less every game Nebraska plays.

USC is hanging in but is missing some bunnies.

If you want to feel the urge to poke your eyes out, watch USC play basketball.

Michigan is at least Final Four this year. But Anything can happen in a final four.

That 96-97 UK team lost in the finals in double OT to an Arizona team that got hot and beat a loaded UNC team in the semis.

UK was without Derek Anderson. With him they probably win it, giving them 3 in a row 96, 97, 98.

Rutgers beginning their annual conference rally after face planting in OOC.

This year: 7-4 OOC (loss to CCSU), 1-3 so far, but done with Purdue and Michigan)
2024-2025: 7-4 OOC (losses to Princeton, Kennesaw State), 8-12 in Big 10
2023-2024: 8-3 OOC (loss to Princeton), 7-13 in Big 10
2022-2023: 8-3 OOC (loss to sub 100 Temple), 10-10 in Big 10
2021-2022: 6-4 OOC (loss to Lafayette, UMass), 12-8 in Big 10

This is always funny.

How they were ever placed in the top 25 is beyond.
They won Maui, but it was a crappy Maui obviously. Their best or 2nd best player is hurt right now and also another key rotation guy and they're on an NBA-style Fri/Mon road trip. Recipe for disaster, but can't lose by 30 in back to back games.

Not a lot of Big Easters on this list. AZ has 3 in top 15, Burries effectively jumping Peat.

Wow. You have finally convinced me that we should all be Michigan fans.

Not a poke at you, but everyone loves to worship at the altar of EvanMiya.

LOOK AT ALL THOSE STATS, NUMBERS, AND FANCY WORDS AND MODELS....These things MUST be accurate!!!!

I'm not anywhere near the stats/model nerd as this dude is, but I do know enough to question whether the numbers correlate with what you're seeing on the court.

I looked at Reibe's stats and the change over the course of the season. If you watched all the games this season, it's pretty obvious that both he and the team have gotten progressively better when he's on the court. Impressively so.

What does Miya say about Reibe? His BPR has actually gotten WORSE over the last 7day and 30 day stretches:

This doesn't compute at all with what we're seeing. I'm sure Evan would have some convoluted justification, but to me it wouldn't pass the sniff test at all.

Funny, actually thought about that. Look no further than me as to someone who has been so impressed with him. Funny the one kid on here was one of our recruits, that we probably could have had if we wanted and somehow he back doored to Nova after decommitting from UK. BTW, UK has ZERO commits so far. Weird stuff going on in Lexington and Pope. He's been a lot weirder than I thought this season under pressure. Not sure how long he is after watching some of him this year.

Here's an article for RuffRuff. Designing a game plan to stop Michigan.

Good article, and I agree with it. Feed Reed, get Mara into FT. Slow it down. Thanks for sharing. Unlike all the ignoramus' around here that get annoyed, it's a lot more interesting to break down a team to see what it's going to take to get through them, or them out of the way.

The irony here is incredible. People aren’t annoyed by analysis—they’re annoyed by you parachuting in, overtaking conversations, belittling others, and talking past everyone like you’re some basketball savant, all while completely failing to read the room—or the forum.

It’s like you actively hunt for posts that trigger you just so you can jump in, stir drama, and add another condescending reply—exactly like your comment here, calling people on this site ignoramuses. That tells everyone everything they need to know.

You don’t elevate discussions; you derail them, then act genuinely shocked when people feel the need to defend themselves or call you out. Grow up. This is the behavior of a 12-year-old, not someone interested in real discussion.

That’s not intellectual debate. That’s alienating everyone and pretending it’s insight.

Caught a minute or 2 of Michigan @ Penn St, in front of nobody it seems. Hope we never get those refs.

Our Florida win is not aging well. It would be nice if they could pick up some wins over decent opponents.
