Seattle played like the lights were too bright the last 2-3 minutes of regulation, I don't trust them in OT

Seattle with a ton of horrible possessions down the stretch. Is this kid Maldonado the only one that can take a shot on that team? I can see why they are KP #227 offense

On to OT. I expect the Zags to dominate it and win by 10+.

Hard to route against the Zags. They're all the mid majors have left.

Wild box scores - all Zags scoring basically 3 guys. Lot's of 0's in starting team.

Pinnacle Bank is an absolute party right now.

Getting '90 UConn dream season vibes.

They really don’t. Our defense is better. Reed can handle Lendeborg, our bench is 2x better than theirs. Let’s see what they do against Duke. I am more impressed with them.
I think UM could beat Duke by double digits. They have answers for Boozer. UM can score from all over - Duke is Boozer.

Outside of 2001 Duke, and this year's Michigan team of course, the others did not win the National Championship.

Other 3 made it to finals no? Maybe similar fate to UM this year.

The ACC last year was WAY worse than the teams UM is mauling. The ACC was putrid last year.
Top 7 games UM has played:
  • 39 average KenPom
  • 25 pt avg margin of victory

Top 7 games 2025 Duke played in ACC:
  • 50 average KemPom
  • 20 pt margin of victory

I think Michigan is better, but reminiscent of 2025 Duke thus far. UM will have better in-conference challenges of course where we can really see if they’re as good as advertised

The ACC officiating crew at ND/Cal has jumped the shark twice on this 3 point +1, then no shot, then 3 point +1.

Edit: Shrewsbury is probably getting a suspension for his antics after the game.

As KenPom is batting .250 on the seasons that have been completed with top five all time seasons, I'm less worried about Michigan now than I had been.

When you see the whole thing, no wonder he was so hyped up. Refs took over that by a mile.

Oof. The fouls were 2-3 dribbles before the shot. That is one of the worst calls I’ve seen all year

I am fine with the call, and I like the continuation rule for end of game situations when a team is down 3. It makes fouling up 3 a lot more risky. I always felt that was rules flaw, and I am in favor of making that strategy more dangerous.

Seems like the right call. Pushes him right in front of the ref after he gathered.

I appreciate this post because in the broadcast view it appeared like there was literally zero contact and I was immediately siding with Notre Dame’s coach and speculating corrupt (gambling) officiating. But this makes it look more like a legit call based on the continuation rule and poor execution by the defender trying foul up 3.

Right call or not, you can’t call it, then change it, then change it again. Inept officiating.
