I hope that they introduce Jana as the newest Husky prior to the game so she can get the biggest Uconn welcome

UConn has two 17 year olds on the team, wonder how many times that has happened in Women's basketball. Guess Ines and Jana will be considered the young ones this season.

Correction Ines turned 18 on September 29th, they are still the young ones though.

And Lou is the oldest player on the team at 24. Dorka turned 23 in December.

Is Nika actually wrestling with HERSELF?!

Yes. She has put herself into a figure 4 leg lock. It is very painful, but in typical Nika fashion, submission (even to herself) is out of the question.

Also FYI - i didn't know this so figure maybe some here didn't either - when they introduced her last night, they pronounced it JAN-A, not Jay-na (like I had thought originally). Or at least that's what my ears told me.

I have the utmost respect and adoration for these young international players. I remember my first deployment to the Middle East, the loss of everything familiar, and the aching to get it back. That's some serious commitment. Welcome...Jana.
