Jalen Adams haters where you at?

No Jalen haters to be found after today's performance.

As bad as the program has been the past few years, it would have been way worse without this kid. Not in game shape today yet he ran the offense unbelievably well.

12 assists and 1 TO.
He didn't have an outstanding day shooting(was a bit passive), but got Carlton and Polley going by setting them up with great looks. He had 2 or 3 NBA caliber assists in transition too.

Hoping Adams keeps it going and Gilbert can come back for the AAC tourney... You never know what could happen.

Anyone need a reminder of how important Jalen is? A picture says 1,000 words.

Seriously. What a game. I believe this performance was in part due to the supporting players just plain getting better. Jalen has never really played with guys who can finish the play. Polly is learning how to get open for spot up shots, Carlton learning how to position down low and to finish. Imagine 3 years of Jalen with capable players around him.

Jalen looked great today. Energy from the get go. Now he has Carlton playing really well and Polley hitting shots. Looked like a different reinvigorated Jalen.

Gotta agree the supporting players stepped up today. Polley with 5 three's, Carlton with 20 and 10, Sid and Vital getting in to double digits.

I really believe Carlton's presence is really loosening up the rest of the court for everyone. He has been a beast with post up moves. By far the best post player Jalen has played with during his four years and a completely different asset than he was in Nov/Dec.

Jalen was exceptional today, that said he disappeared in some games. He doesn’t have a bunch of stars to go along with him exactly and that has hurt him.

It’s still a road game and it is nice to see Jalen not force the offense and look for his teammates. We were 1-7 without Jalen and it is obvious that he takes so much attention on offense that it helps other players be open. Today josh and polley were making their shots. We hadn’t won a road game all year and ECU beat us 2 years ago on the road. Haters gong to hate. Love how Jalen played and the smile was nice to see. He was having a great time out there with his teammates. Now let’s win some games in the AAC tourney!

ECU has a best player too. I've never understood this argument. The best player has responsibilities other than just being better than everyone else.

I would also submit that there were many times that he wasn't the best player, like today. That's say a ton about what it takes to win. There is a lot more to the game than just the stat sheet.

Im just happy for Jalen to not end his UConn career with an injury. Today was fun. I dont care that it was just ECU. It looked like they were having fun out there. The record speaks for itself, 1-7 without Jalen. If Jalen never got hurt and we were just 4-4 in the games that he would miss, this season is a completely different story. 18-12 is a lot better than 15-16.
