Jacob Ross Commits

a positive endorsement of the program and a good use of an expanded roster space

Welcome, Jacob- not to be confused with other Jacob or Jayden or Jaylin.
Thankfully this is the men's board so we most use use last names.

So Ross it is, that should clear things up.

Oh wait a second....

Definitely fine with this pickup as we do need more practice players. You never know maybe he can be more effective than his brother. I wouldn't say he is an automatic Red Shirt but right now would seem to on the outside looking in for playing time.

So I guess he originally visited and committed to Minnesota? Any information as to why the change of heart?

On Sunday, UConn’s former assistant coach Tom Moore, who has taken over as the program’s general manager, said that the Huskies were looking to add to their 10-player roster either through the transfer portal or by bringing in freshmen who hadn’t signed yet.

He said the type of players the Huskies were seeking were those they could develop over the next year or two, because they already have what they believe is a very solid roster from which they can develop an 8- 10-player playing rotation.
