It's really about that time: Start of 22-23 Season

I'm not so sure about this.

This is a common team building practice I've seen other teams use. Several teams have posted similar videos on their social media over the years.

Looks like they were at Coastal Carolina for this one by the looks of the gym. Florida isn’t a team to sleep on. I think they’re going to be tough once conference play start.

Looks like they faced NC State there. I recognize Coach Moore and Mimi Collins in the footage.

Some impressive work by the Gators. Man, the SEC looks like it will have a lot of fun games to watch this season.

Yeah I knew it was NC State they were playing against, I was just pointing out that they played the scrimmage at Coastal because I recognized the gym.

Learned something at Pac 12 media day:
Nearly half of the 2022 McDonalds All Americans will be playing in the PAC-12. 11 out of 24.
They have also joined the SEC in becoming all about inter-conference transfers. The media couldn't stop asking about that. Mostly non answers from the coaches.

That 11/24 stat is pretty big time. I'm not going to lie media day got me a lot more excited about watching the Pac 12 than I had been. I still think it's pretty top heavy but I forgot how strong Oregon State's recruiting class was. I'm a little less enthused about UCLA as I'm a bit concerned with their front court since Dugalic got injured again.
As some may have mentioned, not sure I love Haley Jones actually playing more point guard. I also think it is interesting that Cam Brink is practicing at the 3.

Makes some sense, they are loaded in the front court, if she can pull it off it makes more minutes available for Belibi, Iriafen, etc.

Really great access.

What did the players in green jerseys do to deserve that? Have to play defense constantly on both ends of the court, doesn't look like fun.

I'm curious to see what the Cavinders do in ACC play. Certainly not expecting them to combine for 35 ppg or so like they have been doing. Also really interested to see if Hailey can continue rebounding at anywhere remotely close to the clip she has been thus far in her career.

Tho I really like puoyo I really like this lineup

Not really surprised to see Ware not starting. Maybe they'll even roll with some 4 guard lineups at times.

I didn't see her listed on last night's box score. Is she being held out for some reason?
I listened to coach Barnes post game press conference and it seems she is banged knees and is out with a knee injury. It sounds like there is swelling but she should return in a couple of weeks. I do like the idea of starting Reese and Esmery together tho.
