Is he still going to make visits to Utah and Tech? Also verbalcommits doesn't even have a spot open for Tech
They have a guard leaving the school, might open up a spot and be the good news the Texas Tech insider article contained.

He literally tags Nike basketball in every photo of his. Would be surprised if it doesn't play into his decision
I hope so, only Nike school and we're playing in the PK80 this year so we can sell him on getting lots of free Nike gear

Anyone know what Moretti would be rated if he was a US prospect? I'm assuming he'd be a 4-star top 50-75ish recruit? I know rankings don't mean a lot, but this would be a great recovery for the loss of MAL

Really glad to hear that we are in a good place, just strange we didn't hear anything about the visit. Not complaining though, would love to land the kid and props to the staff for finding him and securing the visit

Don't care. As long as the kid has a high bball iq and can play. Would love to have someone who can stretch the defense and can catch and shoot. Cv seems like he'll be really good at that but needs a someone else to help

I pledge to drink these on game days if he signs

Its hard to decipher what a American ranking of a Euro player may be because play styles are so different. That being said, I think the European style of play is far more versatile and open to being developed and refined (i.e. Neils) and I think we will be pleasantly surprised if Moretti ends up here. Say what you will about the staff, but Moretti and Anderson would be a very nice bounce back from the MAL decommitment. Perhaps even putting us net equal for next year at least.

Not sure how it translates but Draft Express has him ranked as the 26th best International Draft prospect in his age group. DraftExpress - International 1998

For a little color, Frank Ntilikina who is ranked #1 on that list will probably be a mid-late lottery pick in this years NBA draft.

For a little more color, William McDowell-White is ranked #25 on that list and was a consensus 4*, who committed to Fresno State to play with his brother but had eligibility issues that scared off Michigan St and Louisville and ultimately kept him from playing at Fresno this year

For international players, multiply by about a factor of 3. So he'd be about #78 in US high school rankings.

A comparably ranked guard in the class of 2018 would be Eric Ayala.

Where was this formula developed?

No one knows where this kid would be ranked. Being evaluated as a draft prospect is different than being evaluated as a recruit. The more confident someone sounds, the more they are BS'ing.
