It’s a two-fer! UConn men to the Final Four!

Only went 5-for-23 from 3 all night, but two of them in the last minute. Karaban was 0-for-5 before his penultimate three, and Mullins was 0-for-4 before his dart.

Loved Hurley, in the on-court post-game interview, crediting Geno, Calhoun and Ollie for setting the UConn culture of winning.

UConn gets to wear their white jerseys in the semi-final. Can anyone explain why the oddsmakers have #3 Illinois as the favorite in that game?

Geno used to say the EE is the most pressure-packed game in the tournament, because that's the gateway to the FF. We sure were privileged with a double-dose yesterday.

The point spread is narrowing.

UConn beat Illinois by 13 earlier in the season. Tarris Reed and Braylon Mullins each had 2 points that game. I think they were both just back after their early season injuries

I was at the men's game. It was insane. Duke fans outnumbered us, but we were loud and the arena totally erupted when Mullins hit that shot.

If you get to see a replay of that sequence from the Duke bench's perspective, you'll see that the Duke coach was pointing for his player to move the ball to their frontcourt. Not a smart decision in retrospect.

This is the kind of set play that is in your play book and go over a few times a season. Maybe Duke players and coaches are felt to be too smart to was time on such a play, huh? 🤪

I told my wife as UConn was mounting their comeback that they would have to hit the game winner with very little time on the clock because Boozer could score at will. The ending was so exciting and it goes to show you aren't done until you think you are and UConn isn't done just yet.

It’s a great day in UConn basketball history!!
And also my oldest granddaughter’s birthday!

She’s very gifted athletically, and tall for her age, and at some point will need to decide between swimming (at age 11 she’s competing in nationals) and basketball as her winter sport.

Can’t find an overhead but here’s every other angle.

Hurley is a lunatic but he’s our lunatic

After watching all of the angles, I think we need to offer recognition to the UConn coaching staff for making sure the bench didn't over-celebrate, come on the floor, and be at risk for having a technical called. It was close enough with Dan and the ref!

It looks like the game times have been set:
UCONN Women vs. South Carolina- Friday at 7PM EST. UCONN is favored by 6 1/2 points
UCON Men vs. Illinois- Saturday at 6:10PM EST. Illinois is favored by 2 1/2 points
