DeShaun Williams a gunner who went to the Cuse and later transferred to Iona(?) was on that team too. I can still hear Dukie V pointing that out in our games back then!Tim Thomas
Arizona is probably the favorite right now
I don't know about that, all indications point to him wanting to stay close to home; couple that with the desire to play at a big time program and something about it all makes me like our chances.
Arizona is a big time program in their own right. If Briscoe was so sure about saying close to home, then Arizona wouldn't be on the list. He must really like them to make that kind of exception.
It seems like we always lose out on NJ guys. Have we ever had a big time recruit from NJ other than Andrew Bynum?
KFree was from Jersey originally. Don'y you recall the 87 times a game Dickie V or Fudgy Packer would tell us that Kfree had played with Tim Thomas at Patterson Catholic?

Did you duckck her?
I don't think so- seemed like it was only a compliment, like "Briscoe's a nice player". Especially seems that way with Briscoe's response:Does this tweet have any significance?
Rodney Purvis @rpurvis44 6h
Isaiah Briscoe niceeeeeee!

@_IsaiahBriscoe: “@rpurvis44: Isaiah Briscoe niceeeeeee!”Thanks Bro Appreciate It !!
I was thinking this too.... just planting some seeds...Could this be Purvis trying to some recruiting himself?? Some of the football commits have done this with other recruits as well.

In this case I hope so. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Isiah Briscoe is a special player. He is that combination of basketball skill mixed with "you can't beat me" competitiveness. Gamer.

Could he co-exist well with Jalen?
Did you say Shabazz Napier?
I don't like to. As far as I'm concerned Shabazz goes straight to the Mt. Rushmore of UCONN. For me, that's far too much to put on a kid before he actually steps on the court.
That said, I have compared them before. More in attitude than style. There are times when you watch Briscoe and you can see that no matter what he is going to find a way to win. He gets his shot off with the smallest of spaces and has a knack for making tough shots, especially in the clutch.
He's been atop my wishlist for a long time now.
@AdamZagoria: @_IsaiahBriscoe has cut his list to UConn, Arizona, Louisville, St. John's, Seton Hall & Rutgers, his dad tells @SNYtv

It could be because he's a local kid, he's really considering his local options and would like to be known as the trailblazer who got one of those programs turned around. ....OR he realizes that by keeping them in his final six, those three are getting publicity and attention that they normally don't receive which could end up helping them secure other pretty good players. I don't think it's the first option, but if it's the second, it's a pretty cool move on his part.how on earth are the last three teams listed with the first three teams? that's just messed up
IDK, do we really want somebody who's considering who RU?
OK, he's just a kid, I'll cut him some slack
