Apparently they've got a recruiter worth his paycheck.Wow, Rutgers eh? Kids really looking to have all 635 fans see his talents?
It seems like we always lose out on NJ guys. Have we ever had a big time recruit from NJ other than Andrew Bynum?
Thanks, one NJ player in all these years. Wow. How come NJ players don't want to go here? We do well in maryland but not in NJ.Don't know if you'd call him big-time, but K-Free played HS ball in NJ.
He played with somebody really famous. Name escapes me...Don't know if you'd call him big-time, but K-Free played HS ball in NJ.

Charlie Villanueva- I believe he was top 10 in his classIt seems like we always lose out on NJ guys. Have we ever had a big time recruit from NJ other than Andrew Bynum?
Jersey and LI generally look at CT like a rich, preppy, arrogant cousin they have to deal with at family functions. Besides FfC, they also tend to attach us more to Boston than their New York. We're kind of the Tristater on the outside looking in from many of the NJ, LI, Bridge and Tunnel perspectives. Say what you will about it, but my alma mater 'Cuse really dominates Jersey recruiting, especially north Jersey, although I'd like to see Temple step up and pry some guys away, at least in the central and southern portions of the state. It seems like we always lose out on NJ guys. He was a Blair Academy guy right?Charlie Villanueva- I believe he was top 10 in his class
Yea he played w Luol Deng. Normally we don't recruit well in Jersey but once in awhile we pull one out.He was a Blair Academy guy right?
It is weird how people from NY and NJ stereotype CT like there is a big difference but when you go down south where the people are really different they don't stereotype you at all when you say you are from CT.Jersey and LI generally look at CT like a rich, preppy, arrogant cousin they have to deal with at family functions. Seriously cool for you, but Ive taken sh_t in the past in NC, Georgia, and Texas (they don't seem to like many non Texans, and from CT, with my personality, I was actually loathed). Although I think generally the historically older the area, the worse the stereotyping that goes on.It is weird how people from NY and NJ stereotype CT like there is a big difference but when you go down south where the people are really different they don't stereotype you at all when you say you are from CT.
