Was Karaban fouled on the reverse layup attempt? Probably. But there were tons of fouls that could have been called but weren’t for shots at the rim, both ways, and if Karaban had gone hard to dunk (or Stewart on exactly the same play 10 minutes earlier) they were both more likely to have gotten a whistle.

That having been said, I met Coach once outside the Rent. Couldn’t have been nicer or more engaging. Would it be better for both him and the school if he would calm himself down more? Of course it would. But would I have traded him not making that remark for the love and sadness he is showing to his seniors walking off the court after a game they couldn’t have played harder but couldn’t make shots in the photo posted earlier in this thread? Not in a million friggin years. Intensity of the level he and Calhoun had/have can produce exceptional results, but comes with the price that you can’t dial it back instantly all the time.
