Pasche and Walton have been brutal, wondering why Stanford isn't fouling down 3 with a 9 second difference between the shot clock and game clock. You can choose to foul if you want to extend the game but there was more than enough time to play it out and play good D, which Stanford didn't do giving up that easy drive.

Walton actually said something the other day that indirectly applies to us. He said he doesn't want his center to be a charge taker but rather have him be a shot blocker. I think that's Phil's main skill when he comes in. But if your center doen't have the other skills he's gotta do what he can. Guess Walton doesn't understand that.

That's not the PAC12. It's the Conference of Champions! He certainly keeps droning on and on about it. I don't really care about ping-pong championships and such. Actually, I only care about MCBB, so to me his enthusiasm for it seemed kind of pointless. Or rooted in ancient history.

There was a period when he did a ton of NBA games, probably early to mid 2000s, I got a kick out of his weirdness and his overuse of specific words. I remember Shaq doing impressions of him in postgame interviews
