I loved Inês when she was here, too. Her intensity was excellent, like when she chased down opponents the length of the court to block a shot or get a steal. That said, a part of me is glad she didn’t get more playing time, since it probably would have meant the injury situation had gotten even worse. I will be forever grateful to her for coming in to backstop the lineup and I really hope the benefit to her lasts a lifetime.

She gave her all when she was called upon to play. I also appreciated that between freshman and sophomore seasons she put in a ton of work in the gym. She's an easy kid to like.

Whenever there is an all-in Huskies Storrs reunion, I hope she gets a personal invitation to attend, especially if she's in the USA. A Huskie who gave it all she had. Once a Huskie, always a Huskie! *
