Yes. Maybe he's trying to motivate fans to be loud Monday night?I'm sure they're on it now, now that GA has let it out of the bag... interesting decision on his part.

Those involved know exactly what went on. No need to say.Not a good move on his part. Too much like Pat Summitt - accusations without offering anything else.
How can you make that judgment without knowing the specifics of the incident? Obviously, something happened that Geno and the team did not like, so you would prefer that he pretend it did not happen?I'm guessing Geno might be regretting mentioning that. Seems a little classless to me...he did look a bit beat during the whole show, though.
Geno needs to be careful he'll get a call from the pope. Or Santorum.Who'd athunk Notre Dame would be our new Evil Empire???

The same applies to PS and GA. Do you agree that Summitt should be able to make public accusations without offering specifics? There was no reason for Auriemma to go public if as you say "those involved know . . ."Those involved know exactly what went on. No need to say.
or perhaps he will be reported to the FBI. just ask DD about that...Geno needs to be careful he'll get a call from the pope. Or Santorum.

LOL. I assume you mean the local DD and not not the gem of Georgia.or perhaps he will be reported to the FBI. just ask DD about that...![]()
Big difference btw a verbal dustup btw players and accusing a coach of cheating. The same applies to PS and GA. Do you agree that Summitt should be able to make public accusations without offering specifics? There was no reason for Auriemma to go public if as you say "those involved know . . ."
Yeah, I'd like to think he'd prefer to stick to basketball than stirring the pot. I guess I'm wrong. Sorry if I offended your Geno sensibilities...How can you make that judgment without knowing the specifics of the incident? Obviously, something happened that Geno and the team did not like, so you would prefer that he pretend it did not happen?
Not at all.The same applies to PS and GA. Do you agree that Summitt should be able to make public accusations without offering specifics? There was no reason for Auriemma to go public if as you say "those involved know . . ."

Not the best idea Geno has had recently.Maybe what he has planned is the small lineup he played most of the Marquette game. Dolson and Stokes are apparently going to be on the bench for awhile.
The purpose of the public comment was to rile up the fans as was already said. He wants a loud and in your face crowd to greet ND.The point is - what is the purpose of making a public accusation against a player on another team if you don't have the bells to identify that player?
Pat Summitt did exactly the same sort of thing with her "Geno knows" bullsheet.
Agreed.I think wild, presumptive accusations about Notre Dame players is not useful.
