So are we starting this now, at 12:46 Post Meridiem, January 4 2021, Anno Domeni or sometime in the future? Is the rule only for woman's board or should it be used on the men's board, the football board et cetera? Maybe we should put it in place for the Baylor game which I believe is being broadcast on the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network?

It only applies to the WBB board...oops, Women's Basketball Board.

OMG, just type the name! A little respect for the bearer of the name. If your time is spent on a site like this I doubt that you are so pressed for time that you can't spare a few seconds to spell out our players names. Yes, I know all the players names and can figure out all the abbreviations but why should I have to. Seeing the names spelled out is easier for the reader, more respectful of the player and just proper usage of our written language. OR, you can continue this until the majority is sick of it and nothing will change. Perhaps to put a point on it we could just say to give proper RESPECT to the players who we claim to support for their efforts, we will use their full names in all public writing.

I would type out the name, but my fingers tire half way through.

I find mid post rest elevation and electrolyte replenishment helps.

Just an observation, ironically some fans will use initials for players/coaches and sometimes basketball positions, from what I'm reading to cut down on typing time...but why are some replies/posts so darn long?

I prefer using names, like I do with everyone in my life. I'm ok with initials for the typing-challenged but I am very uncomfortable numbering young women, like a serial number. There's nothing meaningful about having the same initials as a previous player or coach. It feels a bit dehumanizing.
