AJ not having AVM. First, no kid should have to go through that.
Second, if there's no AVM, I don't think there's laptop gate (at least AJ wouldn't have been involved) and I also don't think there's the knee injury either. We get an NC somewhere in his career.

The downside would be that Price and Walker would have never played together, and quite frankly, I think AJ had a tremendous impact on Kemba.

That's a good one. Although I think Tate holding onto the ball in 1990 vs Dook is the definitive answer, in reality we only would have gotten to see 1 or 2 more games of that team. That pales versus an entire additional year of Caron or Rudy Gay or Donyell or Ray Allen. Any of those 4 would have been hands-down Wooden award winner and absurdly dominate given one more season of college hoops. Selfishly for me that would have been fun, though perhaps overkill as all 4 were ready & probably left at right time.

With that in mind my vote is following headline in August 28, 1990 Hartford Courant front page:
