Even with the 11 win football seasons, CWS titles and other moments of glory in Gamecock athletics.. last March’s deep tourney runs for both teams is probably one of my favorite moments as a Gamecock fan. It’s exciting enough to have one team make a deep run but to have both teams do it and one brings home the title was exhilarating. The men’s team making their run was like a dream, those games were exciting and nervous breakdown inducing.. but fun. Then you’d take a break and watch the women play the next day.. it was a blast. Nothing beats the NCAA tournament.

I was with my brothers in Nashville for the 2014 Final Four. Winning over Notre Dame is my book as good as it ever gets, though I'll likely feel the same way if we ever get to play and beat Tennessee again.

But truthfully, I think we all enjoyed the men's championship that year even more just because it was so unexpected.

Watching replays of both games helps keep me in a positive frame of mind!

So I'm glad you had the chance to experience a double high like we have.
