Watched the multi-cam replay version of this game tonight. That was way better than the regular version with
commentator. The different camera angles made is a great way to watch.

Still can't believe that Dolson did not win MVP of the game.

There is no "MVP of the [national championship] game" award. There's a Final Four most outstanding player award, and for those two games against Stanford and ND, Stewie was as good of a choice as anyone else.

Well, if they are basing it on both Final Four games, Stewie had 18 and 7 to Stef's 10 and 1 against Stanford, that might have been the difference.

Awesome Nan, thanks. I can play it, but not copy the URL to be played later. How do you do it?

Aaaaaand I just watched this year's championship game. That was awesome!

I know right? Not to spoil it for anyone, but I have it on good authority (level 1 source) UConn coasted to the program's record ninth national championship.

My favorite play came in the second half when Stef just obliterates Mabrey on a screen, Mabrey falls on her butt and just stays there, MoJeff misses a three and Stef gets the rebound, putback and gets fouled. Mabrey finally gets up and puts her hands in the air, exasperated, and looks over at the ND bench.
Two favorite points in the game:
1) At the tip, that is when Stephanie said they knew they were going to win.
2) At the 15:34 point in the first half when nd took their first and only lead and......THE GAME WAS OVER!!!!

My fav play (I think in the first half) is the play where Stewie, unopposed, with the ball in her hands, dribbles away from the basket.

I wrote about this earlier; comments anyone?
One of the strangest (and unheralded) plays of the game occurred at about 12:23
Mo heaves a long pass to Stewie racing to the hoop with McBride the only defender. A bit of contact at the catch causes KMac to fall. Left alone under the basket, undefended, Breanna unconsciously dribbles to the corner. One of my fav moments of the game…Goofy?
I remember that play well, and so do my neighbors:

"TURN AROUND AND PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET!!!"

Well, that was the G-rated version.
