I really hope Mullins comes back

Are you just throwing as much crap as you can think of at a wall to see what may stick?

Unless Braylon (and his father) have been lying for months, he loves it here, he loves the system we run and he loves playing for Dan Hurley. If he decides to remain in college it would be a stunning turn of events for him to go to another school.

Someone could easily post on here that a top freshman (you pick - Dybansta; Boozer) may foregone the draft and transfer here. Technically that could happen, but in the world we live in it isn't worth considering as it is basically an impossibility. The same can be said for the trash you posted.
And he loves being with his girlfriend in college. Sounds like a small deal but when you put it all together maybe there is a chance for him to stay, enjoy …and still make a ton of coin.

Okay if BigErn of all people is putting smoke to something like this you’d have to think it’s serious.

I don't know anything about anything, I just know that tampering happens and some people do it more than others and some of those people may have a connection to the kid.

We'll need take the second contracts of AJax, Bouknight, Liam and Hawkins, combine them and funnel them into Braylon's NIL deal. Oh wait ...

I only mentioned Indiana because they have the cash, are local and may be desperate enough.

You really have lost all touch with reality. Must be interesting your daily life.
Enlightenment and wisdom you give. Thank you Yoda.

Watching Portland and San Antonio now and I never watch the NBA. Bad shooters so from that perspective ok but Mullins is going to need some serious muscle to play with these guys. Strength and athleticism is what they all have.

I would imagine that if we were able to see the day to day and witness the relationship these kids have with Dan Hurley and the staff we'd get a better feel for who would ever consider transferring. To highlight two ends of the spectrum- we knew enough about Abraham's trials in the program to know he'd be gone (PT or not). On the flip side- as great as he is- and as great an asset as he'd be for most top 25 teams- nobody even considered for a second that Karaban would look anywhere outside Storrs.
I bet that Dan knew in January who was and who wasnt a flight risk.

Great points.

What did we know about Abraham other than the bits we heard through Trilly? I only heard he was considering portaling by December, but didn't truly know why. Any color? Not take to the rigor?

The trilly stuff mostly if I remember correctly. And yeah, the talk was he didnt like the in your face stuff and hellish practices. Then Dan came out, right around then (Dec.-January'ish) and said how he needed to soften the way he dealt with some of these kids. I think we all thought he was talking about Abraham. Then I.A.'s body language on the bench all pointed to the inevitable.

Now he's inevitable to land at a mid major somewhere.

Liam was also more physically ready for the college game. No doubt Mullins is a better pro prospect, but as one and dones go, Mullins was not as impactful as McNeeley as a freshman on a game by game basis. Mullins played like a very talented freshman. He showed glimpses of stardom, but did not shoot at a good percentage overall and was regularly targeted on defense due to his lack of strength. Fairly or unfairly, I think most expected more from him this year based on his ranking and reputation.
He’s very streaky. He can make them in bunches (with elite range) but he can also miss 10 in a row. I really liked the stuff they ran Saturday. He was deadly coming off those screens all day, including the game-over shot. If he can get to the point that Jordan did his sophomore year (when every shot he took, I thought it was going in), he’ll go in the top 10 next year

Here we go again. He isn’t ready? Says who. Braylon was playing at less than 100% all season in a system that spreads the ball around. He is an elite shooter who has underrated aspects to his game. Gm’s will fall in love with him.
You're out of your ever living mind. There is absolutely ZERO chance that Mullins is a contributor in the NBA next season. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Just stop.
