I really hope Mullins comes back

I'm fine eating all the crow about Mullins going to the NBA. Hell yeah, run it back!!
There were a few people on here who were kind of obnoxious about telling anyone who questioned whether he should leave for the NBA that he was leaving regardless and mocking even questioning that. I remember a couple but it's not worth calling out. Just goes to show you never know what will happen.

This is the new way. I really think this is the best decision for him. If he gets a little stronger and stays healthy next year, I expect he will be our leading scorer a potential all America and a top ten pick.

Good move for him and not only because I have been in the camp of him staying for quite some time.

I may have been 1 of them. I did leave myself an out by saying 1% chance he comes back if the title game loss left a bitter taste in his mouth and he didn't want to end his UConn career like that and his days with Hurley as coach". :P

I was just going to post something similar. They laughed at the idea he’d even consider returning!

You could probably count on one hand the number of kids who would turn down the NBA to stay in college for more money for a year or two. NBA is their dream if they get drafted they'll still be a millionaire. Follow your dreams.
Continue the count on your second hand. 😀

It was more the discussion that happened during the regular season. By the time the NCAA Tournament came and some mock drafts started to drop him to later in the 1st round when some doubt started to creep in he would leave for the NBA. By the time the NCAA Tournament was over there was chatter that he would stay at UConn.

Braylon is the type of player who will explode in year two. He'll be the focal point, and with experience, a more sturdy frame and a refined handle, will be a problem. I think he'll be more assertive with his 1st and 2nd level scoring. We need him to go to the FT line. We know he's got the three ball. This is what its all about for us fans, getting to see really likeable players for more than one year.

My dad just posted it on our family WhatsApp group chat. I'm out car shopping. Great news and I expect a big step up for him next yeah offensively. Now just need Ball!

You can't have a dissenting opinion in this world anymore with anything. There were plenty of posters that really got loud when their fellow fans had the audacity to hope he'd be back.

This has always been more 50/50 than anything else. He didn't finish strong down the stretch and I think the run really endeared him and the family to the program.

If you look at this financially, he will most certainly be a top ten pick after this year. He will be a net positive in earnings after that.

I think with Liam riding pine for an entire year made this decision easier. Especially when Danny said NIL $ similar. And Liam body is much more NBA ready.

It’s a great day for UConn. It’s a great day for the boneyard. As for this being the right choice, we will never know. I still believe he would be top 15. Now the future will tell if coming back helped his status. I really hope it does! He deserves it. As a fan, I am psyched to be wrong.

How long before this makes it onto the ESPN website. So far no mention of Khamenia or Mullins.
