Haha…yeah well I need to stay up to date on all things Huskies at all times!

Medium polyp removed but fine otherwise. It’s true that the worst part of it is the prior day/night prep. I was watching Saved By The Bell reruns at 1:30am drinking my laxative Gatorade last night.

I'm sorry man, that sounds terrible. I hope I never have to watch Saved by the Bell ever again.

I get he was a URI coach as well as the Andrea stuff but not a fan. Walk out and smile and wink. Nothing else needed you’re the champ.
Ironic how some of these God Loving Private Religous Institues of Higher Learning that populate the Big East have such vile fanbases.

Danny is fine to treat the friar fans like the wild beasts they act like.

Resumes aside, look at how he handles himself vs the guy down in Durham, especially this past weekend. Once the new car shine wears off at Dook and Hurley wins his 2nd, Cooper Flaggs of the world going to Durham over Storrs will become few and far in between.

Coaches put up with so much crap and they take it. The fans hate when the coaches talk back, especially when the fans are getting their asses whooped.

The PC fans are vile human beings. Right along side Cuse

I see it both ways, he's only encouraging them or other opponents fans to say stuff because they know he'll act on it. I dont really have a problem with him reacting that way, i think a lot of us would but its like internet trolls, they are looking for a response, if you dont respond or pay them any attention, their power goes away.

I don't care but it's not good. Any behavior that makes it more likely that stupid words will elevate into crowd violence is not a good choice.

Also this is completely correct. After the Creighton incident it’s less surprising the Providence fan would egg him on for minutes on end. He’s inviting this behavior by acknowledging it, he shouldn’t be playing into a villain role as a 50 year old man. It’s a bad example for the players too.

Not that I condone Hurley engaging with opposing fans, but I got this text from a friend of mine whose son graduated from PC last year and had very good seats to the game.

"My son said PC fans behavior was embarrassing last night. Said guys our age were yelling terrible things."

So, ---- them. Hope those fans enjoy the home NIT game.

JC did some of the same stuff. Cant recall any stories of the police escort needing to tell JC to cool it.
Yeah, I'm calling BS unless you have an actual example.

Great comments from everyone (for the most part). I have no issue either with Hurley engaging. Sort of wish he just pointed at the score board. He did say something about "come here. you'll get hurt". And someone (maybe a security person?) said something to him, Hurley looked at the camera, and then walked away. Didn't think that was great. BUT given the behavior of the fans, love that Hurley gives it back.

And listening to Andrea talk about PC fans throwing beer her way and spitting towards her - shameful. Love her unfiltered comments. Talk about a mama bear (don't mess with my cubs)! :p

Providence fans will be really ticked off when Hurley steals Hopkins from them next month

If I was a fan of another team, yes I would hate Hurley too. There's a fine line on these displays and so far Danny hasn't gone over the edge with it. He's a psycho, but he's our psycho and we love him because of it.

He meant that the person would get hurt by the security guard not by him. That's how I see it.

I've read it on opposing boards... JC yelling at opposing fans. Which probably isn't the evidence you are looking for. Maybe it's b.s, but knowing the type of personality JC is, I had a hard time not believing it.

I mean... I don't think many are under the illusion that's what he meant. It seemed pretty clear to me. I also don't really considering it a "threat" and more of a warning.

Maybe right before he retires, Hurley can explore his inner Ron Artest on peecee fan:

About the 1:45 mark Rip makes an appearance. What a brawl! Testosterone at it's best.

I think a lot of pc fans post on the boneyard when we lose a game pretending to be UConn fans.. I don’t see them post much anymore
