Paging @RSTuthillif you have tickets and aren't using them and want to donate them to others who will send me a DM and I will find them a home.
Sweet Lotus. I'm jealous.I am out Friday night. Tix will go into the rubbish. Do not see any redeeming value in freezing my butt off to watch the sorry mess.
On the other hand, if it is tied at the half ... I might just jump in the car and go in.

If UConn actually gives Temple a game, I want the option to change my mind. Stranger things have happened.Yeah I can't imagine just throwing them away. I have friends who will be attending who will use my tickets.
crickets?Posted 3 tix + gray Lot pass on the ticket exchange.
I should follow up with a very true statement:That's the way I feel Al. See you at the tailgate.
... I'm considering skipping the game Friday.
I'm visiting my sister in NJ this weekend and was gonna head down very early Saturday morning, but at this point, sticking it out for a Friday night game in cold November weather to watch the UConn Football Dumpster Fire continue to burn down so Temple can celebrate another AAC East title is... yeah.
I'm stuck between my loyalty and my self-preservation saying, "How many hours of this garbage do you have to watch before you say enough is enough"?
(Note: I'm gonna go to the Tulane game either way and I'm sure I'll renew my tickets, just to be clear that I'm not giving up on the program long-term.)
@Irish Loop Go to the game, Loop. I'll buy you a Two Roads.
I will be there for the players if for no one else. I hope for a good game and a win. The surprise win of the year comes Friday evening folks.
The Temple game is my lasthomegame at Rentschler of the year. I'm going up to Boston on the 19th and I think it will be a pseudo home game.
I won't be able to get to the Tulane game unless they move it to primetime, because I'll be driving back from the Thanksgiving holiday in Pittsburgh. Even then, it would be stretch. Be that as it may, two things I can't imagine is 1) TV moving the Tulane game to 7:00 and 2) navigating any airport over the busiest air travel weekend of the year with a 10 1/2 month old, a 4 year old, and all the gear that goes with them.
My issue with this is that it shouldn't be a surprise win. UConn at home vs. Temple should always be a win. Sad to see that the rent has become an easy place to win. We used to OWN the rent!
lose to BC in the freezing cold.
Temple has built a respectable program under Matt Rahul's leadership.
Saying Temple should always be a win might have been true in the old Big East days but not in recent years. Go ask Penn State and Notre Dame how tough an out Temple is.
Same here...we met some great folks next to us at the Maine game and have coordinated with them for food/drink/supplies every time since...drive in together and have become fast friends in a short while. One of the things that keeps us coming back...I should follow up with a very true statement:
The friends the wife and I have made this year at the tailgate has just made it impossible to skip out. I'd be there even in pounding sleet.
Heck...I felt guilty for cancelling my ECU trip the week of....(slightly guilty)..for like 3 minutes of game time. Then I went to the fridge and felt better.
Agreed. Remember in 2010 what a "disgrace" it was to lose to a MAC team like Temple by 2 TDs? People started calling for Edsall's head after that one. Man, how times have changed.
