I said to some friends elsewhere at the time you just had to laugh at the notion of a lifelong UConn who has seen 4 titles, 5 final 4s, countless big east titles proclaming this was their favorite team ever after being Iowa state in November lol.

Sorry to dump on OP I bought into the hype too but jeez.

Despite the horrible ending, 2005-06 was my favorite team.

06 and 09 were so fun to watch because we legitimately looked like juggernauts throughout the year. We were so loaded.

Think 09 still ends differently if Dyson doesn’t go down.
