Watching Fedko live in Memphis right now and they’re pitching him to him like prime Barry Bonds. I have tried to get a video of him smashing a ball, but he has walked three times already and none of the counts have gone past five pitches.

He had stolen a base though!

That PVS tweet @'s a bunch of Pittsburgh sports media folks. Joe Starkey and Bob Pompeani co-host a morning show on our top sports station and are probably the only hosts left who still mention baseball given NFL has started. I haven't heard either mention Fedko yet, although likely they all know the kid personally because his dad John Fedko was a well-known sports media guy here with his own local TV show till a few years ago.

I will watch to see if there's any traction. I hope there is because Lord knows we need offense from our OF.

Special shout out to John Fedko. Over the years I attend a few games on the road most years. When the Fedko boys played for UConn, John was a fixture at every game. He could easily be spotted pacing and was probably full of angst at some of the games. I’m sure he is not the only parent with that level of support but just the most noticeable to my eyes.
