The #FSU game against #ULM also has been cancelled this weekend down in Florida.

I know that Tallahassee is being used as a FEMA/DMAT staging area. They don't want "extra visitors/vehicular traffic" in the area.

This is driving decision from State government.

I kinda hope USF finishes undefeated but gets left out of the N6 bowl because they only played 11 games. Does that make me a bad person?
PS I know UCONN benefits of the AAC gets a team in one of those games.

Brett Mcmurphy is operating under the assumption that Miami and FSU will be able to play next weekend as scheduled. that is 50/50 at best and that Oct 7 date is going to be needed for that game to possibly be rescheduled.

Just spoke to a really good source at #GaTech who said UCF is cancelling the GT game because UCF released their players and can't practice.

So the biggest issue with playing the game in general is that Frost let his players go home instead of a plan they had to stay together.

Apparently many of the UCF football players are stuck away from campus and that is part of the cancellation along with them not come to ATL

Sources: The Georgia Tech-UCF game scheduled for Saturday in Orlando will not be played, as UCF continues to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. It's unlikely the game will be made up later in the season. WSB television in Atlanta first reported the likely cancellation. UCF had to cancel last week's game against Memphis as it braced for the hurricane. Its campus remains closed through Wednesday.

Kelly had it first from the GT side. FWIW, I heard decision was made above Frost, even though lack of prep time wouldn't have been ideal.
