OT: How to quickly get rid of a cold?

I always take Cold-Eeze just as I feel a cold coming on and I think it does help reduce the effects and duration of the cold. Been doing this for over 30 years.

Wife came down with an intense head cold yesterday (Covid neg so far) and immediately started on Zicam. Will report results but claims are 2-3 days.

This isn't related to your cold but I used to get the stomach issue with anxiety all the time when going on a trip or starting a new job, etc. I wouldn't be able to eat anything for a few days and would feel like total garbage. I used to get pretty bad panic attacks (the ones where you think you are dying and having trouble breathing) when I was growing up but then a few years ago my doctor put me on a low dose of lexapro and it completely changed my life. No more anxiety, no more panic attacks, and no more stress from worrying about potentially getting anxiety.

I have had zero side effects from it too so it doesn't even make me any different in my normal everyday life (unlike some strong anxiety medicines such as xanax or klonopin). You should talk to your doctor about it, it might honestly change your life if you deal with anxiety on a regular basis.
I use klonopin at night to prevent acting out dreams. My wife told me you're supposed to be almost paralyzed while dreaming, and to seek help. Turns out I wasn't getting into full REM sleep. Poor dog got whacked off the bed a few times, and even popped my wife once. I take a minimal dosage and have no side effects other than restful sleep.

Chew on pimento sticks for 20 minutes.

Then, dry them out and use them on your smoker for enhanced flavoring of your meats.

I was prescribed klonopin for about 2 weeks prior to switching to lexapro, I hated it. It made me feel loopy and even after only taking it for a couple weeks, the withdrawal from stopping it cold turkey was horrible. Constant headaches and shakiness. I'll never ever touch that stuff again lol

Covid really broke peoples brains. If you are sick stay home, if you are not sick leave your house. The end.

Google ketamine or psilocybin clinical trials.

Interesting Reading this thread after watching George Carlin part 1. 50 years ago he was talking about drug culture was everywhere.

I guess the loopiness is just part of me at this point. Been taking it for many years.
