If that happens, UCONN will be punished 4 years later ...The spilled blood will be on the school's hands. Not the NCAA.
Hands up if you are old enough to understand this reference.. In fact any activity not taking place in a Travolta like plastic bubble should be banned also.
That was the greatest moment in K's career. My favorite was the time K put the walkons in and then went to the locker room with the starters before the storming.
Maybe it's just a different perspective, but ACC games are infinitely more exciting (from a crowd standpoint) than big east games. I've been to tons of UConn games and the most exciting wouldn't be in the top 5 of ACC games I've been to (my best friend was a Maryland grad). I'm not criticizing the quality of the game/play, just the crowd vibe. It's a world of difference.
I will say that if Providence ever storms the court a death could happen. With all their pent up frustrations, and first time beating a top level team, well that will be a recipe for a catastrophe of epic proportions. Sorta like a man in prison for 20 years being released and immediately going on a date, with anticipated sex afterward. No amount of security in the world could prepare for that explosion.
Of course its highly unlikely, but damn that would be a dangerous scenario.
