i disagree with his last line... For the sake of entertaining basketball, let's hope that day comes soon. (referring to a hopeful day when the rest of the ACC becomes competitive again).
Frankly, i think the dismal league is very entertaining. i love seeing Maryland lose and lose and lose and lose. just goes to show how great JC is - he could have fallen off the face of the earth like Williams after winning a NC. instead he won 2 more. and as for Wake, GT, BCU, Miami, and VT - i love seeing them at the bottom (especially the last 3). people keep talking about conference realignment based on football schools and that after the BE and ACC get poached, they might merge. aside from Duke and UNC, it would be mostly like adding a bunch of PC's, SHU's, and SJU's to the conference. a bunch of crappy to mediocre hoops teams for sure.
