Geno talking at the half, "If I stood here for another hour I wouldn't be able to tell you one thing that I though we did well today".

I agree with Geno for the most part - when asked if he was pleased with how the team played after a slow start he said "You know, if I stood here for an hour, I don't know if I could pick out one good thing we did in the half."

They were disjointed, out of sorts, and sloppy. Having said that, I thought Butler looked good, Gabby was everywhere, and Lou played better in the 2nd part of the 2nd quarter. It wasn't a BAD half, but it felt a lot worse than it was.

It shows how he looks at team when talking most of time, unless someone points out a particular player. Gabby had a very good 1/2 half....

would somebody please call CBS gametracker and tell them that the damn game started about an hour ago?

Kia back out of the locker room. 32-11 UConn. Lou just stepped out of bounds for another UConn turn over. Kia was poked in the eye.

I would say "stepped"; she was body checked out of bounds!

Gabby has simply been everywhere. Saniya had good moments, Kia has been playing solid - Steady Eddy. Lou improved during the second quarter as well. I expect some fire in the second half! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the locker room.

By my 1950's standards, almost everyone in basketball now carries the ball, but Houston's point guard should be called for carrying (or traveling) every time down the court, and it gives her a huge advantage when she's trying to get to the basket.

Kia has her hair in a bun for the 2nd half.

Kia with her hair in a bun for the 2nd half?

They're as cold as the weather. BTW, it just started snowing.

Pheesa finally getting into good position under the basket and moving well without the ball. UConn getting beat back on breaks. So uncharacteristic.

Don't get me started: my biggest pet peeve about basketball. I'm sure Cooz began this with Sid Borgia letting his "buddy" get away with murder. But then when the Doctor hit the NBA and the game changed forever, you really had to carry the ball to get that explosive first step.

We could allow Houston to carry the ball around without having to dribble at all and we still win this game by at least 40 points.

UConn getting more off turnovers.
