A sore shoulder doesn't cause you to abandon good rebounding position in a quixotic attempt to block a shot.

But maybe he couldn't get his arms to react quickly enough…….we can hope!

That's possible, though Brimah's poor rebounding seems more like an instinct/awareness/experience issue than a physical one. Hopefully those things come with time, though it will certainly be longer than the time it takes to heal a shoulder injury.

Speaking from experience, rotator cuff injuries don't heal ( going on 37 years). Hope AB is OK.

No kidding. I don't know how you could possibly heal/cure a rotator cuff mid-season considering all the over the shoulder and rotary movements he uses.

So, maybe this was indeed a reason for his improvement in rebounding?

While it's a possibility, what I've seen the past two games is his leg strength improving.

He is actually able to put his body on the offensive player, hold his ground and not get moved when he jumps.

Earlier in the year he was being moved out of position any time he left his feet.

Also, early her wasn't jumping at all. He's 7 feet tall. He has always been the tallest player and was used to the ball coming to him without effort. He is being less passive now and starting to go after it.
