Touche' - thought it looked familiar but didn't do a deep dive when I saw it tweeted (retweeted) yesterday - thought it was the next analysis and completely missed the date. Grabbed the wrong one - My bad!

Current first-round playoff matchups are projected as:

6. UConn vs. 11. UNH
7. UMass Lowell vs. 10. Merrimack
8. Vermont vs. 9. UMass

Unfortunately UConn's imbalanced schedule works against them right now as it gives Maine/BU a chance to catch up/move ahead. That said, UMass should be a chip shot win for UConn tomorrow and no one would be shocked to see BC take three or four points at home from Maine. Heck, with BU's injuries and Greenway flying home halfway across the world, it wouldn't shock me if UVM steals some points from my guys. That said, a 6-11 series with UNH or Mack would NOT be a bad result for UConn at all. UNH has fallen off the cliff and Merrimack away from home is terrible. A quarterfinal series at PC or NU would be very difficult though.

No, it may suck for you in that you don't get to go to a home playoff game, but getting a buy in the first round of the HE playoffs is a great achievement for a UConn program that has only been in Hockey East for such a short amount of time.
