Motor City Bowl, ( great first bowl win) Army,( beautiful scenery) Meineke Car Care Bowl,(awful game ) Notre Dame,( fantastic day), Michigan,( historic day but beaten down by a running quarterback ) and Maryland.( great win vs Edsall on a hot day. Notre Dame by far the best trip ever, and Wake Forest the most forgettable game I ever attended.

BC
MCB - Detroit
Army - WP
Rutgers
Cuse
GT
Meineke - Charlotte
Temple (hurricane game)
I-bowl - Toronto
USF
Army - NYC

Most memorable was USF, that was a blast. GT was probably the worst as they were operating at another level.

All Bowl Games

Yale :p, Rutgers, Cuse, Army, Temple, Louisville, Pitt, ND. Michigan.

Damn - forgot all about Georgia Tech until Huskypantz mentioned it. Remember walking to the Varsity and then through fraternity row to get to stadium. Good trip - bad results.

Regular season: Temple, Rutgers, USF (BCS! BCS!), ND, Vandy, Maryland. All bowl games.

Forgot Michigan and Army at Yankee Stadium.

Will be adding Missouri this year and was hoping to also do BYU but my wife is suddenly balking at 2 trips.

Is she balking at you going or balking at her going?

Because anyone who can fly to both BYU and Missouri in the same season is a road warrior.

Kind of both. I'm going to Missouri with friends/UConn grads (some, ironically live in Kansas City)...and that turned into a guy's weekend with a Thursday night KC/Denver game at Arrowhead. I was selling an extended weekend trip to Utah to the wife but now she's balking. I'm still trying though. Maybe I can sell it as a solo trip.

I've been to two games at SMU (1989, 2013) and one game at Baylor (2009).

Rutgers 4x
Syracuse 3x
Pitt 2x
Army @WP 2x
Army @Stadium
Notre Dame
Michigan
Indiana
SMU
Ohio
Cincinnati
USF
UCF
Temple 2x
Maryland
Virginia
Louisville
Duke
BC
Fiesta Bowl
Papa Johns Bowl
Meineke Bowl

Best game and atmosphere of course: ND
Best tailgate: Michigan and Maryland and Pitt were all great
Best looking females: SMU (all dressed in short skirts)
Best place to visit: Army
Best I ever felt after a victory: Tie ND and USF game that got us to BCS game
City I had the most fun in: Louisville
All set to go to BYU, Tulane, and Temple so far for this year.

@Dooley

Myself and @agaaaymilkman are also doing the Chiefs/UConn combo. When game time gets closer lets meet up and we'll grab a drink

You go Gopher!!!

I've had the privilege of going to many of our away games. I say privilege because there's something very special about that us-against-the-world feeling on a road trip. My wife and I always try to take some of our grand kids along. We meet up with friends and fellow Husky fans for some great pre-game camaraderie. Great memories with awesome people.

Bowl Games are special. Enjoyed every one.
Motor City Bowl
International Bowl
Meineke Bowl
Papa John's Bowl
Fiesta Bowl

Syracuse (2)
Army (NYC)
Temple (2)
Duke
UNC
BC
Pittsburgh (2)
Louisville (2)
Michigan
Notre Dame
Rutgers (2)
Maryland
West Virginia (2)
Vanderbilt
UCF
USF (2)

Best was Notre Dame. The atmosphere, tradition and frankly, the most welcoming fans--coupled with the sheer drama of the game made it special. I had to pinch myself at kickoff as I thought back to my student days and the sheer improbability that we would ever be playing in South Bend. Goose bump time.
Best of the rest: Maryland, Vanderbilt, Michigan
Coldest: Temple (down 21-0 at the half and freezing, I convinced my wife and two grandsons to stay and "never give up on the Huskies". Thankfully, the team bailed me out with a great comeback win. Hate to think what I'd be facing had we lost--lol.)

This year heading to Missouri and UCF.

Let the games begin.

Sounds good. One of my buddy's wife is pregnant so we'll have a DD!

That's just great thinking on your friend's part. Getting the wife pregnant before the trip so she has to DD and he doesn't look like the bad guy. Great move.

He's a smart guy...he's a UConn grad.

Took wife and daughter to Vanderbilt. We had a great time. If it wasn't for witnessing the beginning of the end, it would be a much more positive memory. To this day I can't get Pasqualoni's look of confusion at the end of that game out of my head. We stayed at that Marriot overlooking the field. Watched the great ending to ND-Michigan in the lobby bar with bunch of UConn fans. Great spot. Have told my buddies I think it is a good cheap way to go see an SEC matchup.

Detroit and Charlotte proved to me you do not need a great setting to have a good time at a bowl game. We went with our season ticket crew to both and had a blast a both.

2004: BC, Cuse & Motor City Bowl
2005: Army
2006: Rutgers & Cuse
2007: Duke, Virginia, WVU & Car Car Bowl
2008: RU, Cuse, USF & International Bowl
2009: Ohio, ND, Papa John's Bowl
2010: Michigan, Temple, Rutgers, Louisville, Cuse, USF & Fiesta Bowl
2011: Vandy, Buffalo, WVU, Pitt & Cinci
2012: Maryland, Western Michigan, Rutgers, Cuse, USF & Louisville
2013: Buffalo, Cinci, UCF, SMU & Temple
2014: USF, Tulane, ECU, Army, & Memphis
This season I plan to make all of the road games again.

Best wins for me were ND, USF in 2010, and Louisville in 2012.
I don't really hang out on the campuses too much when I go to the games, but I thought UCF had a nice campus. Their stadium is all metal bleachers which doesn't look great, but it was loud when their fans started stomping on it. For me Tulane was the best destination. The best stadium atmospheres of all the away games were at Army, ND, WVU, and Michigan. The fans were probably most in to the game at WVU.

How's this for an unusual list of games attended.

Attended UConn FB games in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Nashville, Memphis, Orlando and Tampa.

Have never seen a game in East Hartford.

Cuse x2, rutty, usf, temple x2, md, pitt, Michigan. Maryland was favorite trip. Great day, great game. Temple in the monsoon was the worst. Worst college football environment ever.
I'll reply to myself. Add every bowl game to the list.

Forgot @BC. Took the 'UConn fan bus' from Manchester commuter lot...

You must live in Fairfield County.

...why?

Not too many, but my first away game was at the Yale Bowl in 1990 I think. Beyond that - Charlotte, Glendale and Yankee Stadium.

Strangely enough, I am thinking about going to Boise in 2018.

That's why you're homeking not awayking LOL LOL

Best by far was the USF game in Tampa to go to the Fiesta Bowl.

Worst? Tied for the UNC game at Chapel Hill and the Louisville slaughter in 2010.

Looking to go to Tulane and UCF this year.
