My wife made a dinner reservation on Saturday night for my birthday. I’ll probably have the first game on in the background before we leave but I'm not remotely invested in the outcome.
True,There's only one NCAA Tournament team remaining that isn't a 1-seed. It's your chance to root for the Cinderella!
Go Huskies!
Almost. I think I need to watch Cooper Flagg some more. With all the activity in the portal, and quite an uneventful tourney (if you're anything but a #1 seed) have you lost interest in the rest of this year's games?
Duke is very long starting w that mutumbo clone Houston doesn’t have the firepower to score enough. Cooper Flagg is an nba superstar and will need huge attention That’s Houston’s only chance to winCan Duke handle Houston's physicality? Don't think so. Officiating will be crucial but they tend to not call these games too tight which favors Houston.
I feel like you’re stalking that long lost girlfriend on Facebook. Let it go, man….Almost. I think I need to watch Cooper Flagg some more.
The women are way overdue for a title, finally all healthy..... so ladies let's get er done. There’s the women’s final four which I am very nervous about and then there’s whatever is happening in the men’s tournament. I’ll watch the games if I’m home, but if there’s something else going on that we can do, I will go do that.
This isn’t a UConn FF game where I cut off communication with the outside world like eight hours before the game because my nerves are frazzled.
I’ve said this before we lost, this tourney is a snooze fest. With all the activity in the portal, and quite an uneventful tourney (if you're anything but a #1 seed) have you lost interest in the rest of this year's games?
Well even though they're the only 2 seed in the Final Four they are the overwhelming betting favorite to win it all. So not exactly Cinderella.True,
But who would have guessed (since the turn of the millennium) that there would be a day where UConn women's basketball would be in a Cinderella position.
You know you could tune in to the UConn Women tonight. They are the Vegas favorites. They killed South Carolina by 20 or 30, last time they played. With all the activity in the portal, and quite an uneventful tourney (if you're anything but a #1 seed) have you lost interest in the rest of this year's games?
Baloney. I'll be watching the Women's Final Four tonight. I have little league practice tomorrow at 8:00am so I may not make the entire game, but if UConn wins, I'm watching on Sunday too. Please move this to the Women's board. Thank you.
I don't think they are. UConn women are 7.5 point favorites against #1 overall seed UCLA tonight.True,

We cant win it every year and it sucks we arent there but i love the F4 especially when we have really good teams there and anyone can win it. Last two seasons Uconn was just so dominant there was zero drama. I hope we get drama. With all the activity in the portal, and quite an uneventful tourney (if you're anything but a #1 seed) have you lost interest in the rest of this year's games?
You make a great point. I hope you are wrong. I mean we do have a few players who have not made a decision on staying or going. If they stay we have almost a handful of players that have been with the program for three years. We’re seeing the beginning of the end. We’re all less invested. They’ve got to figure out a way to preserve the passion by making sure fans can get attached to their players and see them through. We can’t have brand new teams every year and maintain the same love for the game. Something has to be tweaked.
I’m not surprised. Once a gutless traitor, always a gutless traitor.Almost. I think I need to watch Cooper Flagg some more.

Interesting questions. I think if Hurley hit 4, he might look at the next level. He would enter an elite club with 4, eclipsing Calhoun and one shy of K as it comes to the modern era numbers. If we got 4 out of him, he'd have done more than you could ask.You make a great point. I hope you are wrong. I mean we do have a few players who have not made a decision on staying or going. If somehow Hurley can create a culture that convinces these young men staying is their best chance of reaching their realistic goals it gives us an edge.
I do think if we are funded well enough that we will be a perennial national title contender. The back to backs kicked off at least a decade of UConn being a dominant presence in the college basketball landscape. Does anyone doubt Danny can win two more chips over the next 7-10 years.
If he gets to four does he keep coaching?
