A disability is mostly used as a problem that keeps you from working. It is confirmed by the Social Security Administration. A learning difficulty (or disability) is different and his protection from being fired is irrelevant to someone mocking his speech. Also, speaking publicly would be a requirement of his job so he would not be protected.

Maybe you should educate yourself before you speak. It's something you could learn from Malloy, who has almost certainly accomplished more from less.

That's a fair point, I did not know that he was dyslexic nor did I know his struggles from childhood.

Ugh! I never said Dannel didn't have to overcome a lot.
I voted for him twice and still am somewhat of a supporter.
He has severe learning problems.
They just are not called disabilities. Largely because people like him do not appreciate being called disabled. Check the Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel V. They are learning disorders. I am not demeaning him you are.
I don't know what politics or meanness you are reading into my posts but that is not me.
Consider the fact that maybe I know something you don't and please understand I was not attacking the Governor or minimizing what he overcame.
Enough already.
