For those saying we have the most talented roster in the AAC, are you sure about that? Because I don't think any Div 1 team has more side-of-the-backboard 3's than we do this year. Memphis, SMU, Cincinnati have some good players. NBA players.

Another bad sign. In hami's last commitment post on instagram. Not m one single UCONN player or coach liked it..

The writing has been on the wall for a good while.

Well, that's good to know. In the context of this thread, it could be easily construed that you were in UofCT2009's camp.
The two camps that are equally insane are the "fire Ollie" camp and the everything is fine camp. Ollie needs to be given more time with his recruits but there also needs to be acknowledgment that improvements need to be made top to bottom with the program.

Not everything has to be pinned on Ollie despite your obsession with stuffing that narrative down my throat. Obviously there are circumstances that have lead to the last 3 seasons being a disappointment but I can't actually believe that you can sit there and tell me this team has lived up to the expectations of a 4 time national champion. That was my premise, maybe you got into an argument with another poster over Ollie and that's fine I don't care but I'm not in that camp who blames all of the woes on him.

You actually responded to my reply to 2009 who wrote, "Why would any player come to play for Ollie?"

I mean, that's the whole context for this conversation, and why I wrote the post you replied to.

I guarantee you that Kevin Ollie and Jim Calhoun both never saw a team in which they didn't think improvements were necessary.

We know that. There is no "everything is fine" camp. There is "Kevin Ollie is a great coach for UConn and we're lucky to have him" camp, which I'm in. He's the guy to fix the problems we have right now.

I respect your opinion. I know I am overreacting!

Sorry it's hard to read pages of pissy cat fights on an iPhone

I am already prepared. If we get I am happy but I already have absorbed the loss.
