UConn's most "pretty good" player is a fun topic, honestly. Can't be someone that got into the Huskies of Honor. We can debate if people that earned All-Conference honors but aren't in the HoH are too good or the right level. The Rashard Lewis example (2x All-Star, 0x All-NBA) is our guide. Nick Van Exel is in, Danny Graner is in, Kyle Korver is in, Jamaal Tinsley and Mehmet Okur didn't make the cut. The line seems to require some accolades, you can't just be a journeyman.
Is Christian Vital too good (1st Team All-Conference, but it was in a mediocre AAC)? Is Isaiah Whaley good enough? Tyrese Martin (all-conference tournament but never all-conference) seems to be right in the zone.
