Roy was having a blast tonight. I have way more respect for Roy now after how he just retired with no fanfare.

9-4 in Final Fours…half of those loses to us, one to UNC which gives UNC fans bragging rights FOREVER (esp after last game at Cameron also). This is great. For one night I’m a Heels fan, eh…maybe two nights. Rather UNC over Kansas (and Coach K’s last season) end in a UNC title.

Those programs survive. Even if Capel isn’t it they will. UNC survived Doherty (who I used to play pool against when he was an assistant to Roy at Kansas).

I never got the allure of Coach K and I sure as he|| don’t get the appeal of Scheyer. There’s money everywhere.

These last two losses to UNC are gonna sting Dookie Nation for a long, long time. Just awful to lose to your archrival in those situations, especially blowing the chance for payback in the Final Four and doubling down - nah, tripling down - on the faceplant.

I think they mean 9-4 in national semifinals.

He reached the Final Four 13 times. Five of those resulted in national titles; four times he finished runner-up; and four times he lost in the semis.
