When I went to Detroit in 2009, I forgot to bring rolling rock from home. I went to about 12 liquor stores and couldn’t find it. Not making that mistake again. I’m having a couple of beers and wings as we speak so I don’t get stuck not finding any downtown.

Every year for the 1st weekend I meet up with my UConn classmates and watch the games in Las Vegas. This year was It was unseasonably hot-mid 90s
before the games started my friend and I were walking through some mall.
A woman walks by with her husky dog.
I’ve been going for 10 years and never seen a husky.
Yes, a lot of people walk with their dogs, take their dogs shopping. But if I had a husky, I wouldn’t take it to Las Vegas or to the mall, especially in 90 degree weather.
Could be animal abuse but I prefer to view it as a “sign”.
 
My mojo story: Getting ready to leave my hotel room in Indy to head to the various pregame festivities. I reached for my phone and pulled it out of the charger. I looked at the battery strength and it said ‘99.’ Let’s go!!!!!

Maybe not mojo, but I’m touched by a very sweet gesture.

Long story short, I teach two brothers from Germany who went to the Final Four semis with their dad, mostly because they were excited to rep UConn as Connecticut is the family’s new home. I coach the older boy in basketball and he knows my UConn history/fandom, so they kindly picked me up some official Final Four swag from the weekend.

Not sure how to handle previous Mojo that worked for 6 NCs and now. Stick with those things going forward or adjust now ?
