In CT I'm ready for ESPN to switch to a more competetive game. TENN may look awful but they are not going to lose THIS game. Where's that "whip-around" coverage you were talking about?

The Dayton / Arkansas game is very close. They keep going back and forth. You would think they would switch to that game. How can they possibly think that we in CT give a rats patootie about two Tennessee teams - unless UT was losing. They're not. So whip it already, whip it good!

Assuming Gonzaga wins this game, could the Zags beat a Williams-less Miami team?????

Standish is a really solid player, in contrast Sykes is 3-15, ouch. Rushdan not changing things much.

Sorry, Rushdan was grabbing the player all the way. Wheeler is RU's total offense.

I am loving it....Sykes with a T....now if they lose we can enjoy CVS throwing her team under the bus. Yes, my blown desktop has me in a foul humor, but CVS's stengalisma etc may reprieve my day!

I'd love to interview CVS after this game and ask her if Rutgers is scheduled to play The Sisters of the Poor next season.

I'm not defending Rutgers in any way, but the women's basketball tournament has inherent unfairness in it. Why in the world should any team, such as Gonzaga, play their opening round games at home? I understand that is not the case in the men's tournament. I was watching a game from the Pit in Albuquerque and noticed that the New Mexico Lobos were playing at the same time in another city. That's the way it ought to be.

Are they showing the post game interviews anywhere?

Wheeler had a great game, but none of her team mates showed up.

Because without doing that the NCAA would lose even more money. Women's basketball is not the only sport that is handled this way.

Your comma sorta threw me there. Certainly not the Zags, 'cuz they did not earn it. But economics and a lets move it around a bit produces this stuff. And maybe as Trey just suggested we will have CVS wax eloquent on this any moment now.

I didn't fill out a complete bracket, but I picked the Zags here, even without 'Sloot.

Expect we will have to read about it. Maybe at the half of the next game we will get a snippet.

Or if CVS really goes off it will be an ESPN home page video snippet! We can hope, can't we. :p
