OT: Golf - Bummer for Rahm

Ok so even if a player was a close contact with a Covid positive person, the tour wouldn’t even teat them because they’ve been vaccinated
Correct, was gonna add that part but forgot. Anyone vaccinated who's deemed a close contact can continue playing unless they're showing symptoms

Anyone know the rule if you were vaccinated and test positive? Thinking of the Yankees example earlier this year. Everyone was vaxed then like 7 guys tested positive. Would the player still have to withdraw in that instance?

PGA Tour rule is if you are vaccinated you do not have to get tested unless you are symptomatic.

Its time to stop being and get over this Covid. Deal with it accordingly and not like a bunch of 1st graders.

Not sure how he qualifies as "stupid".....the shots are a pseudo "vaccine", and hence, he can still get the damn virus and test positive. He could have caught it from another "vaccinated" individual with whom he interacted. What could he have done to prevent getting it....isolate? self-quarantine? hide? wear a mask all of the time he is not in his house or hotel room?
Actually he may not be stupid, but we are all now dumber for having read what you wrote.

LOL, and she blows a 5 shot lead, misses playoff

The US PGA women all choke when in position. (careful)...no winners on our tour on that side of any consistency.

Rahm was terrific Saturday and built an unbeatable lead too bad for him. I was having a couple of cold ones with my buddy in an RI bar watching it and we said "this would be a great Sunday if Rahm wasn't playing." Little did we know!

The PGA threw a competition caution.

1.25 years into the pandemic and good golly the persistence of horrible takes by some folks about both the infection and the vaccine is simply awe-inspiring

All I can do at this point is to shrug my shoulders and laugh.

On another note. Has anyone else found the Sunday golf this year to be generally awful. Seems like no one wants to win. Except for Lefty a few weeks ago the Sunday rounds have put me to sleep even more than normal!

Except that may carry greater risks for him than Covid does. Hardly stupid.
Then he should prove that and ask for a waiver. Oh wait… no one can prove anything. Just go with someone’s opinions.

Dumb rules on the PGA tour. Clearly the players who have not been vaccinated at this point understand the risks and are comfortable with them

Only science deniers believe in outdoor transmission at this point, but even if that did exist the people attending the events could be vaccinated to avoid it or not go to the event...

Lot of money going to be dropped on Cantlay, Morikawa, Schauffele and the other SoCal youngins at the US Open. Some fools will drop money on an oldin' from SoCal too.

I'd almost be dumb enough to take Cantlay and Morikawa vs the field.
