What family has had multiple (most) members play at the highest level in any Olympic sport? This includes the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, Olympic teams, and any NCAA championship team, etc.

(multi generation up to 1st cousins)
Since you mentioned 1st cousins this probably isn't right, but most I know of from one family is the Sutters. The six original brothers and three of their sons all played in NHL.

Only two players in major league history have over 450 HRs and 10 or more steals of home plate. Name them.

Who had the unenviable task of starting at catcher for the Yankees the first game after Thurman Munson died?

Fran Healey? Spoke with him many times when his daughters were taking lessons and playing tennis tournaments in the late 80s and early 90s.

Very nice family.

Yep. I googled after I posted. I had thought Fran was back up to Munson, but apparently he retired just before Munson died.

I think it was Jerry Narron. I was at that game. Sat 3 rows from the top in right field with my brother and godfather. I still get teary-eyed thinking about it.

I’ll say……

1) Mantle
2) Barry Bonds
3) Mays
4) Jimmie Foxx
5) Gehrig
6) Pete Rose
7) Roger Maris
8) Frank Thomas
9) Johnny Bench
10) Joe Maurer
11) Cobb
12) Lou Brock
13) Yaz

I’m sure of 5, rest are guesses
Good stuff on your first guess:
Mantle
Bonds
Foxx
Maris
Thomas are the correct answers

No idea on Pitcher
Man, you continue to impress me with your baseball knowledge.

Here’s three………

1) Name the MLB player holds the record for the most RBI’s in a season (191) and the player who had the 2nd most (185) in a season?

2) Who hit 58 HR’s in 1938?

3) Who had a batting average of 364, hit 58 HR’s and had 169 RBI’s in 1932.

No fair Googling
1 & 3 - Hack Wilson
1b - Lou Gehrig (although I contend that his best RBI year was 1927 as Ruth emptied the bases in front of him 60 times).
2 - Hank Greenberg (?) not fully sure as I thought it wsa 59

This was an alltime great trivia question a few decades ago when only nine players had done it, coincidentally, one for each position. Yogi was the cathcher, Hal Newhouser was the pitcher (during WWII so not against a full complement of MLB caliber players). Jimmy Foxx was the other first baseman.
