I say if the ACC isn't an option go back to the Big East. We have a ton of local rivalries, history, and at least a good Basketball conference (i think like 5 0r 6 are in the top 100 rpi) . Let football go independent. UConn is a basketball school. It will never be a football school.

Can we stop with "RU figured it out"? They figured nothing out but to build a campus close enough to NYC to convince other conferences that they are worthy of being the face for said conference in NYC. On field performance and attendance have little to do with how RU got into the B1G. Geography is the key. If a conference wants a stranglehold on New England, then UConn is for them. The question is, does anyone feel like that is necessary?
