2. But it's rare. And approval isn't 'guaranteed' as it is with one.
Thanks for clearing that up. This sucks man, AG is the only player that can take weight off of Jalen’s shoulders with running the offense. Gotta feel so bad for this kid man, surgery from Andrews is probably the best for him at this point, but he must be heartbroken.

Oz is saying on twitter that Dr James Andrews is going to perform surgery on AG and he will be out for year again
No surprise there. It is going to be the Jalen show. We go as far as he can take us. I wish Larrier could step up but not sure that he has the drive to do that.

Case Keenum had 2 medical redshirts and now he is the best QB in the NFL so there is hope.

Anderson can run the offense. He can't create like Gilbert but besides one game he really didn't do much. It does hurt our back court depth. Tyler is going to have to pick up his game.

Haven’t really seen him penetrate much, but hope he can fill in AG’s shoes.

He has even did it in the Mommouth game but he looks to pass more than force a shot like Gilbert which is better for us.

I hope Gilbert can salvage his career. So tough if this is really destined for a third operation. Gotta hope he can continue to grow mentally and use time sitting on the sideline to develop an internal drive that will help him do big things in future seasons.

Right now, the offense is running better without AG. But the ceiling is higher if we can put him on the floor with JA and have them actually running offense and not just taking turns playing 1 on 5. Will really need a lot more from Polley and Whaley if he’s truly out for the year. KW seems like a lost cause this season.

Waters Water Waters - the kid was not coming here
But do you think that if KO knew that AG's shoulder was going to be useless again this year he wouldn't have tried to get someone else here?
Because JA and AG were here - most kids went where they could play right away
This is a true slap in the face again for KO and the team - the injury bug was never a big deal in the past but these last 2 yrs have been mind blowing
And yeah - it's KO's fault - lets get that off our chests before the usual bashers jump on that one

He did try. He just couldn't land anyone.

Yep, it has nothing to do with our coach. The whole goshdarn way our program functions is built on point guard play and we have no "bridge." We're screwed for this season and we are staring down a season with James Akinjo running the show. Yep, the guy who runs the ship has nothing to do with that, he didn't know the situation. Alterique was on shaky ground. Tremont Waters and Makai Ashton-langford say hi.

It was said at this point he is being kept out for precautionary reasons. So they are resting him as much as possible

His original surgery was to correct the labral tear caused by multiple dislocations. My guess is he either reaggravated that, or more likely, that he is still dealing with instability of the shoulder joint itself which would require another surgery on the shoulder capsule. The dislocations cause the capsular ligaments to be stretched out and they never return to their previous tensile strength, so now when he reaches or moves the arm in a particular direction he may experience pain or feel like it’s about to sublux or dislocate again. Here’s hoping that he can salvage a playing career if he does need another surgery.
