The more the ball went in their hands down the stretch the worse this game got for us. Vital gives Marshall 10 feet on open 3. Gilbert takes terrible shots. I would have put both Gaffney and Bouk in. The more our freshman play this year the better we will get
 
Vital has so many turnovers (not including bad shots that are essentially turnovers) and Gilbert needs to learn to pull up

It’s tricky. His free throws kept us in the game but at least one of those should’ve been and1’s
 
I still think Gilbert can be coached into being a solid college point guard. His ability to break down defenders and get into the paint is an asset, but he needs to be a pass-first player.

But Vital is what he is at this point.
 
Hurley still giving AG 'room' to 'find' his shot. His FTs have been great, so maybe that's a start.
I still want him as a pass-first PG.

I'm starting to agree. He just can't seem to finish or draw fouls when he does get into the paint. He's a lot like Boat in that way. Lots of empty drives, but Boat was better at getting his shots up.
 
Vital shows hisblimitations more than anyone down the stretch
 
The worst part of this is gilbert won’t be able to leave even if he wants to idk what team will want this kid right now
 
The only appropriate way for that game to end was for Alterique and Vital to schzit themselves. Embarrassing performance, again.

10 secs left and u take ya time up the court then fall on the ground .... goshdarn ... bouk you can’t foul at all there ... should have been switching everything at the top .... vital should’ve made that shot with all the collision and that Whaley 5 foul wasn’t a damn foul smh refs weren’t good ... Carlton was hacked across the head no call , but breathe on jones you’re fouled out ... Dan Hurley must’ve gotten a notice from the NCAA cuz there’s no other reason why he wasn’t on the floor second half n ot

I honestly don’t think he’s good enough to make the G league. Jalen Adams is G league level and Vital doesn’t sniff Jalen Adams offensively and athletically
