We ran double screens to get RIP open. We were working to get him the ball. It's not desire. No such plays exist for Giffey. That is the point.
I've agree we should run such plays -- not so much because Giffey is great at shooting off screens, he's not, but because depth is our strength at the 3, we have 3 guys who can start at that position, our 3s should be playing at high intensity and running their defenders ragged. 40 minutes of chasing a fresh shooter and colliding into screens will give us an exhausted defender by the end of the game. We do need to diversify our offense away from Bazz and Boat, and the most likely opportunity for gains is from the 3-spot.
